 Parkway

Front door key

To let yourself into the house, there is a key inside a wall mounted key safe to the right of the front door onthe other side of the down pipe.  The number to get into the safe is 0420.  When you leave the house for the last time, can you put the key back in the safe please.  Thanks.

WIFI

Name - Tenda Mesh

Password - AJGKTUCX

The router is under the hallway table.

TalkTalk have a problem at the moment in the aftermath of recent storms that is affecting broadband. If you loose the internet,  unplug the power lead to the router, wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in.  Until TalkTalk fix the problem, this is the only workaround I know.  You could always turn WIFI off on your phone and use 4G instead.

USB charging

There are four USB sockets built into the power socket to the right of the kitchen TV

There are iPhone leads next to all the beds

Shower

Touch the power button on the face of the shower and the shower will swich on and the temperature diplay digits should start to climb.  Turn the large dial clockwise to raise the temperature.  We usually have the temperqature set to about 41-43.  If the water gets too hot (ie the temperature reads +47, then the thermostat will turn off, the water will go cold, and then the temperature will climb back up.  If this hsappens, you need to turn the dial back a bit so that the water temperature sits about the 41-43 mark.

Hit the power button again to switch off which takes about 10 seconds to happen.

Dishwasher

To turn the dishwasher on, turn the knob from the 12 o'clock position, one turn to the right and then press the white triangle 'play' button to the right.

The dishwasher cycle will be completely finished when you get the red circle/tick symbol appear bottom left of the display.  Dishwasher tablets are under the sink in the plastic pouch.

Heating

The heating is controlled by the thermostat in the hallway

Turn the outer casing clockwise to turn the heating on.  We usually set it to 17 or 18 in the evening.  To turn the heating off, turn it anticlockwise down to 9.

You can control the thermostat via the Google devices which are in most rooms.  Just say:

Hey Google....

turn the temperature up to 17 degress

turn the temperature down to 9 degrees

In the morning, the bathroom etc will usually heat up after the heating has only been on for about 20 minutes, so just before you get up, you can ask Google to "Hey Google, turn the temperature up to 17 degrees".

Lounge/Hallway/Kitchen Lights

The lights in the lounge (Christmas tree lights, chimney breast mantle, table light and the tiffany lights in the hall and the lights on the top of the kitchen cabinets are all on a timer and will swich on at 16:00 and off at midnight.  If you want to turn them all off before midnight, just say "Hey Google, turn ALL the lights off"

Lights outsude the front door

These have dusk to dawn sensors on and so will switch on when it gets dark, and off again in the morning when it gets light.  They stay on all night which is fine.

Christmas Music

"Hey Google....play Jingle Bell Rock...."...and when its finished playing that song, it will carry on playing lots of other Christmas music until you tell it to stop by saying " Hey Google....stop"

For the next track just say "Hey Google...next"

Cutlery

The nice cutley is in the right set of drawers, 4th drawer down.  Everyday cutlery is in the top drawer of the left drawers.
